Event Management System in Routine and Emergency for the Ministry of Agriculture

A crisis management system builds for the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture for controlling events in emergency times, suitable for all fields of agriculture activity: poultry, beef, milking cows, vegetation, food centers, essential factories, and any other aspects of agriculture, relevant and of importance to the economy and the population during emergency.

 

The system is located in the cloud and is accessible only through a secured authorization system. The system has an operational interface through smart phone, all the data entry absorbed, updated and displayed in real time on the relevant screens. Its main abilities are:

 

  • Follow up and inclusion of all data required as to quantities of flock, meat, dairy and reproduction, and refers to all resources that being raised in Israel:

    • On the national scale – all the relevant data (quotas of animals, of eggs and milk, beef, lambs and poultry and reproduction of these and crops in fields and plantations, pointing locations on GIS maps, etc.).

    • On the regional scale – required data according to geographical distribution subordinated to the county management.

    • On the local council scale – all the data according to municipal affiliation, including the updated information by the council's agricultural management and the municipal agriculture committee.

    • On the village / settlement scale – similar to the local council scale, but with differentiation to each locality.

    • On the single farmer scale – the farmer enters and updates only his data.

  • Management of periodic inspection for routine and emergency, in order to trace the inspected agent's conduct and operations according to the Ministry of Agriculture's guidance on the required readiness level:

    • The appropriate level management readiness for emergencies (situation rooms, communication abilities, human resources, fall back plans, etc.).

    • Necessary emergency resources   management (fuel, vehicles, workers, protected spaces, products and services).

    • Establishment and concurrent operation of alert teams for the various levels, teams training, preparations and contingency plans for animal's evacuation, sanitary and medical actions.

  • Communication means and redundancy options - receiving messages about emergencies and events in the field:

    • Possibility to send a message through a link in the Ministry of Agriculture website.

    • Traffic of t messages in the system, checking and either forwarding for care if relevant (mission, event in motion, etc.) or forwarding to the archive.

  • Events management in any scale and level of command:

    • According to hierarchy fitted to the take-care agent's permission.

    • Rating the severity of the event and close surveillance on the actions and treatment in every stage until the end of the event.

    • Adjustment to the geographic location of the event (county, council, and locality).

    • Suitable to the scenario type and the required actions determined of every scenario.

    • Suitability to the actions in the field been cared by the relevant agents (veterinary services, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environmental Protection, police, IDF, etc.).

  • Task initiation and management:

    • Task's creation according to events and surveillance on every step in the execution of the tasks and the sub-tasks.

    • Affiliation of agents to tasks, so every agent receives a message about his task (only the associated agents can edit the data in the task).

  • Creation of snapshot – the sum of the events in specific territory and summarizing them to an informative, focused and relevant snapshot:

    • Essential factories.

    • Municipal authority.

    • County.

    • National headquarters.

  • Assessment – summary of events and their treatment:

    • County.

    • National headquarters.

  • Information routing system – dedicated mailing group:

    • According to interests and specialties.

    • According to organization identity.

  • Scaling, setting referabilities and elaborating permissions system:

    • According to hierarchy.

    • Interests.

    • Others.

  • Report production – fitted to the customer's needs.

  • Digital library, documents management, operating Instructions, and more.

Plantation and Field Crops Managing System

Plantation and field crops managing system is designed to enable farmers to control and manage the data1 of every plot and every crop easily and in real time. Existing managing systems require knowledge in program operation and/or data managing skills, causing many small farmers not use them due to their complexity and resources required. As farmers' time is limited and critic data should be entered in real time, we have designed a simple and comfortable system interfaced with smart phones. The system does not require knowledge or compliance with computer operating neither CRM ERP systems, data input procedure is simple and quick. JXSET's plantation and field crops managing system can serve big farm as well as small, being flexible, adaptable for changes, scalable and customer tailored, according to needs and demands.

  • The system is designed to be confidential and requires a personal username and a password.

  • The system can be easily tailored adapted to any language

  • The data entry can be done at field by the mobile phone.

  • The application is simple and user friendly.

  • The system calculates for every crop required resources (e.g. irrigation, pest control, crops, working time and any other expenses), mechanical tools or vehicles time (reflecting expenses, maintenance, working time, etc.).

  • Accordingly, the system enables exact calculation of expenses and profitability of each crop at any defined parameter, such as chosen range of dates

  • Planned improvement and future scalability include the options for   reviewing the complete scenario of crops in the country (e.g. according to regions, types, diseases in progress), in order to enable farmers to plan their crops, treatments, expenses and resources required.

  • Additional planned scalability enables a trade center which will provide all services of vendors, customers, and trading of agricultural products.
